About 1657 he removed to Providence where he bought a house and land but returned to Braintree before 1661.
He was born about 1618, died Oct.16,1688, aged 71, "the father of twenty one children" as his gravestone, Hancock Cemetery, Quincy says. [Sprague #3395]
