Frances Violet HUGHES-KELLERMAN, 96, died Monday, Aug. 1, 1994 after a brief illness.
Born in Lewiston, Centre Co. PA., she lived in Akron for 75 years. Violet was a past president of the Betty Jane School P.T.A. For 10 years. she was employed at Polsky's Department Store in the luggage department. She was a member of th Goodyear Heights Methodist Church and the Goodyear Women's Club.
Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Lloyd George KELLERMAN, her daughter, Helen Belle KELLERMAN-ROTH, two sisters: Leona Ruth HUGHES-WILLIAMS, Miriam Grace HUGHES-WORKMAN-McCLAIN-JACOBSON, three brothers: Joseph Martin HUGHES, Harry Russel HUGHES, & Leathed Rhoades HUGHES. She is survived by one brother, two sons, 10 grandchildren, 13 gr-grandchildren.
Funeal service, Thursday, 11 a.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH. Rev. Fred A. SCHMIDT officating. Burial at Hillside Memorial Park, Canton Rd. Ellet (East Akron), OH. There will be no procession from the funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. The family suggests memorials to the Goodyear Heights Methodist Church, 1690 Hillside Terrace, Akron, Oh. 44305.
