Kenneth E. "Pappy" Holderman October 19, 1926 - July 15, 2004 Kenneth E. "Pappy" Holderman, 77, of Julian, died Thursday, July 15, 2004 at Brookline Village, Centre County. He was born October 19, 1926, in Bellefonte, PA to the late Theodore R. and Ethel Switzer Holderman. On March 28, 1948, he married Margene J. Spicer, who preceded him in death on August 26, 1995. Mr. Holderman was a veteran having served in the United States Air Corp and was retired from West Penn Power Company in 1981, in the maintenance department. He attended the Milesburg Assembly of God Church and enjoyed the outdoors.

He is survived by two daughters, Susan L. McFadden of State College and Julia V. Hedgeland of Columbia, MD; three sons, Samuel R. Holderman of Alaska, David A. Holderman of Alpine, Texas and Charles E. Holderman of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; one brother, Theodore W. Holderman of Bellefonte, PA; 12 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.

Friends will be received at The Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg, Saturday, July 17, 2004 from 7-9 P.M. A funeral service will be held Sunday, July 18, 2004, at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Union Twp., Centre County. Memorial contributions may be made to Brookline Home Care and Hospice, 3901 South Atherton St., State College, PA 16801.
