Mrs. Rilla S. HUGES_NIGHTHEART, 74, of 414 E. Bishop Street, Bellefonte, died in the Centre Co. Hospital yesterday at 6:50 p.m. She had been in ill health for several years, seriously ill for six months and in the hospital since Sept. 16.

Mrs. NIGHTHEART was born in Sprng Twp., Nov. 6, 1882, a daughter of George R. and Sarah WION_HUGHES. She spent her entire life in the Bellefonte area.

Her husband, William J. NIGHTHEART, died in 1946. A daughter, Mrs. John KLINGER of Baltimore, MD.; a son, Melvin H. NIGHTHEART of Bellefonte; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren survive.

Mrs. NIGHTHEART was a member of the Bellefonte Methodist Church, the Women's Society of Christian Service, the Volunteeer Bible Class, te YMCA Auxiliary, the Bellefonte Garden Club and Bellefonte WCTU.

The funeral services will be held at the Hindman Funeral Home, Bellefonte, Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Donald H.G. MILLER officiating. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening.
