Jesse, the earliest known ancestor for this family, was born in 1900. Technically, he was born after 1899 cut off for this set of pages, but he certainly must be part of a larger, older family. Unfortunately, as is all too often the case for African-American families, this family is extremely poorly documented. What little is known is placed here to help jump start some research on it.

    General Notes: Jesse Parrott Jr., 82, passed away to his heavenly rest peacefully on Feb. 16, 2011.

    He was a lifelong resident of Summit, IL, restaurateur; and loving father.

    Services held on Feb. 24, 2011, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 7513 West 64th Street, Summit, IL 60501.

    Memoriam contributions may be made to the United Negro College Fund.

    Jesse married Augustine Jones on 2 Apr 1948 in Cook Co., Illinois. Augustine was born on 16 Apr 1930 and died on 30 Dec 2014 in Bellwood, Cook Co., Illinos at age 84.
