Joseph married Edna Gertrude Dorlaque. Edna was born on 21 Sep 1879 in St. Charles Co., Missouri and died on 15 Apr 1925 in Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana at age 45.

SICK 4 YEARS DEATH COMES

Ill for almost four years from an attack of flu, and unable to regain her health, Mrs. Joseph G. Parrott aged 45, the wife of a well known Monon carpenter, died last night at the home on west Wylie street.

Mrs. Parrott was a faithful member of the Fairview M. E. church and had a large circle of friends. Besides the husband she is survived by the following children---Miss Gwendola, a nurse of the city hospital, Indianapolis and also Mrs. Melvin Dalton, Genevieve, John and Orville, of this city.

Funeral Friday at 2:30 from the residence in charge of Rev. E. T. Schneider of the Fairview church and burial at Rose Hill.

General Notes: Annabelle Parrott, 96, of Bloomington, IN, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2014. She was born April 10, 1918, in Orange County, IN, the daughter of the late Newton E. Elliott and Bertha Marshall Elliott.
Annabelle was a member of First Christian Church in Bloomington. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Annabelle is survived by her two sons, Joseph M. Parrott and his wife Janet of Bloomington, IN, and Charles E. Parrott and his wife Liz of The Villages, Florida; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John G. Parrott, in 1994, and a sister, Junetta Stockberger.

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, August, 8, 2014, at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E. Third Street, officiated by the Reverend Roger Heimer. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 7, 2014, at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home.

Eleanor Parrott, the 8-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Parrott, 514 West Wylie Street, died at 12:45 this morning from the effects of pneumonia fever. She had been sick since the first of February.

The funeral services will be held at the home tomorrow at three o'clock in charge of the Rev. Morgan. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery

9. Charles Elliott Parrott (John G.², Joseph Gooding¹) was born on 9 Sep 1936 in Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana and died on 26 Jul 2017 at age 80.

General Notes: Charles (Charlie) Elliott Parrott, 80, of The Villages, FL, went home to be with Jesus on July 26, 2017. He was born September 9, 1936 in Bloomington, IN, son of the late John G. Parrott and Annabelle (Elliott) Parrott.

Charlie was a 1954 graduate of Bloomington High School and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati in 1960. During Charlie's long and fulfilling career as an architect, he worked with several Indianapolis area architectural and engineering firms including James Associates, Fanning-Howey and E. I. Brown. In 1994, Charlie was named Partner and Chairman of the Board for Veazey, Parrott & Shoulders architecture and engineering firm where he worked until his retirement in 2001.

Charlie is survived by his wife of 45 years, Liz (Hunt) Parrott, his brother Joseph (Janet) Parrott of Bloomington, IN, daughters; Kim (Mike) LaRue of The Colony, TX; Kelli Masselink of Frisco, TX; Karri (Brad) Smith of Little Elm, TX; Karen (Bill) Napier of Brownsburg, IN; Christina (Dustin) Stoner of Beech Grove, IN; and son, Brad Orcutt of Urbana, IL.; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017; visitation at 1:00 p.m. and service at 2:00 p.m., at Crown Hill Funeral Home - 700 West 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46208.
