He was born May 22, 1928, in Eldon, a son of James G. and Myrtle R. Wright Hutchison. He was married April 22, 1958, in Windsor, to Catherine Kaiser, who survives at the home.
He was a retired custodian at Eldon Junior High School.
He is also survived by two sisters, Ellen Guyan, Torrance, Calif., and Eulah Lee, St. Martins.
One son, Larry Hutchison, preceded him in death.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Big Rock Cemetery near Versailles. The Rev. Richard Cramer will officiate.
Visitation will be from noon-1 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home.
Memorials are suggested in care of the family.
