In May 1703, already mar. to Mary Grant, he bot in Berw. Will, 11 July 1747 - 18 Oct. 1748, names w. Mary (80 in Apr. 1756), and ch: John, Peter, Samuel, Joanna Yeaton, Mary Wallingford, Martha Allen, Miriam Lord, but not Elizabeth, b. 12 Apr. 1704. [ref 22]

31 Oct 1676 administration to Joanna, relict; 23 Sep 1676 inventory by John French, Caleb Hobart and Joseph Arnold: house and lands 237, total 335, 05s.,07; 18 Jul 1699 division of estate (by James Brackett, John Webb, Joseph Parmenter): to widow 6 3/4 acres pasture & planting land running from Menatoquod Road six score rods on a straight line in length bearing 9 rods in breadth, part of it butting S.W. on the land of Ebenezer Thayer & the lower part of it on a division of the same and allotted to Joseph Pray whom Daniel Furbish represents as also the S. end of the dwelling house & orchard, the south part as it is staked out from Menatiquod road in the mill pond; to Joseph whom Daniel Furbish represents 3 1/2 acres lying between the division of the widow's land & land of Ebenezer Thayer, running from a stake . . . by Menatoqoud road that parts between said widow's division and & Joseph Pray a straight line to the corner of a stone wall, also part of an orchard between the widow's & Ebenezer Thayer; remainder of house & lands allotted to Ephraim Pray, Samuel Pray & Hannah Bell & Dorothy Furbish, children of said deceased whom Ephraim Pray represents & has not made a division because he has shown he has purchased it of them

Joanna Dowman m. 7 May 1657, John, son of Quinton Pray. She was made administratrix of his estate 31 Oct. 1676. She married (2) Daniel Livingstone and settled in York, Me., with her three youngest children. See York Deeds IV. 45 cf. Suffolk Deeds XIX. 159 and XXIV. 212. Her second account as administratrix was rendered 7 July 1699, by Joanna Livingstone, late Pray. Her second husband was killed by Indians 20 Aug. 1694. See article in N. E. Reg. 1901 by its editor, Henry Ernest Woods. Children by first marriage: John, John, Ephraim, Hannah, Hannah, Richard, Samuel, Joseph, John, Dorothy. [ref 33:669]
