Both wrote. - John, m. 4 Nov. 1704 at Sturgeon Creek (many miles from Braveboat Harbor) Hannah Tidy (from Scarb.), she a wid. having s. John bap. in 1713, b. 9 June 1708, and m. 2d Daniel Wittum. In this neighb. one Samuel wit. a deed by his mark in 1718, and s. John in 1730, presum. the same man 15 July 1731 Mary Goodwin. - John, Portsm., fisherman, bot from Rebecca (Brookings) Bowse's dau. in 1721, presum. Barrington prop., adm. to Joshua Pierce and in 1746 to Daniel Pierce. - John and w. Catherine had 2 ch. bap. at Portsm. So. Ch. in 1723, she a wid., another ch. in 1796. - John jr., m. in Greenland 20 Sep. 1732 Sarah Sanborn, adm. 27 Nov. 1735 to wid.
