Samuel, mariner, Kit. 1696, b. 16 May 1669, built on Elihu Gunnison's land bef. 23 Aug. 1699. His w. Mary Fernald testif. in 1704, what her husb. told her. She was gr. adm. 19 Oct. 1708 and perhaps d. bef. 10 May 1722 when s. Samuel took adm. on fa.'s est. Ch: Samuel, prob: Mary, Hannah, Dau. [ref 22]

Samuel Pray married Mary, dau. of Thomas and Temperance Fernald and was living in Kittery in 1696. She was made administratrix of his estate 19 Oct. 1708. He was a mariner and lived on Gunnison's Neck. Administration was granted to Samuel Pray on estate of his father Samuel, May 10 1722. Probably his mother had died. Children were probably: Samuel, Mary, Hannah, John*, and a daughter. [ref 33:669]
