Jacob, b. 25 May 1695, had the homestead. Either this was set off to Rye or he bot there, or both. Tried Epsom bef. the F.& I. wars, constable there 1716, but ret. to Rye. Last noticed in deed to s. Abraham 30 Oct. 1765. 11 ch. [ref 22]

JACOB LIBBY, born in Hampton, 25 May 1695; married, 29 Oct. 1719, SARAH MARSTON, born 29 May 1699, daughter of Samuel and Sarah Marston, of Hampton. He had his father's homestead, and it is thought he always lived on it. His son Abraham lived at home, and he probably died with him, soon after 1765. Children 1720-42: Samuel, Anthony, Sarat, Ruth, Jacob, Hannah, Job, Joseph, Benjamin, Abraham, Hephzibah. [ref 25:43]
