TOBIAS, Dover 1686, br. of Thomas; his w. was tak. by the Ind. at the assault on Waldron's garris. ho. 28 June 1689, when his mo. was k.; was k. by the same enemy, 10 May 1693. He had Tobias, Joseph, and Benjamin. [ref 20]

Tobias, Dover, eldest son, prob of age 1662; his bounds ment. 1660, taxed 1662. He early subscr. for lands in Monmouth Co., N.J., and poss went there tempo. with John Hance, as he did not take the O.F. in 1669 with br. Thos. He m. Elizabeth, dau. of Jos. Boyce, Quaker, of Salem (his will 4 Nov. 1684). She was bp. 6 Mar. 1641-2; carried capt. 28 June 1689 when his mo. was k. He met his mo.'s fate 10 May 1693. Kn. ch: Tobias, eldest s. 1718. Joseph, poss. husband of Deliverance Clark. One Deliverance Hanson witn. a Watson deed 1714. In 1747 he gave his homestead to neph. Wm. (Benj.). Dead 1749. Benjamin, blacksmith, �80, 25 Mar. 1751. In 1718 his br. Tobias deeded him 15 a. bet. his own land and Joseph's, part of 60 a. gr. to their gr.fa. M. at Salem 26 Nov. 1701 Elizabeth Trask. 8 ch. 1703-19, incl. Jos. [ref 22]
