EPHRAIM LIBBY, born in Kittery, now Eliot, 2 Feb. 1702; married, 1728, MARY AMBLER, daughter of John and Elizabeth (Trickey) Ambler of Dover, N. H. He received from his father by will the home lot of the homestead farm, and lived and died on the spot on which he was born. His death occurred in the winter of 1776-7. His wife outlived him. Children 1732-aft 37: Ephraim, Eleanor, John, Mary, Abigail. [ref 25:49]
