Nicholas, bricklayer, mason, Kittery, b. 1667, m. (ct. Apr. 1695) Sarah Frye who was liv. 26 May 1727. Jury 1694, 1714; gr.j. 1699; constable 1698-9. He took a case from Mrs. Lucy Stileman, and in 1703 was involved in a suit with Samuel Small who ma. her son's wid. In 1728 bot 50 a. in Scarb. from Thos. Harris. At a meeting of ye Officers of ye Town of Kittery together with ye Selectmen of sd Town Sept. 15th and 17th, 1722, for ye ordering what houses be made defensible in sd town by vertue of an act of ye Governmt passet At their Session ye 8th day of August, 1722. Ordered that ye several houses be made defensible Vizt: 7th Nichol Morrell, at ye ferry. And that ye inhabitants a familys from Wm. Lived with his parents and after his mother's death was deeded the homestead with provision that his father be cared for during his lifetime. He was a blacksmith, and ran the ferry which they purchased of Anthony Emery. He was a real estate dealer. Nicholas married Sarah, daughter of Adrien Fry, sometime between April 2 and Oct 1, 1695. His estate was administered 1757.
