Feb. 1697-8, liv. with Elisha Plaisted, m. 6 Nov. 1722 Martha Trickey; d. in Berw, s.p. bet. 6 Sept. 1773 - 1775. [ref 22] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Daniel, b. 1697; m. Martha Trickey 6 Nov. 1722, in Berwick, where he ever afterward lived. Little is known of him other than what appears from the following deposition: The Deposition of Daniel Libby of Berwick in the County of York in the Seventy Sixth year of his age Testifieth and saith that he with Capt Humphry Chadbourn, Capt Ichabod Goodwin John Key Josiah Black Nicholas Sewall and sundry others to the Number of fourty four some time in the year 1722 or thereabouts went out from Berwick on Scoutafter the Indians thro the Country so far as Great Ossabe River & Pond and in their March on the southerly side of sd River the sd Chadbourn & Blac?? who were then Elderly Men and as they sayd had been there before say?? to the Company they were near the place where one Francs Small an I?? dian Trader formerly dwelt upon which in searching they soon foun?? mark'd Trees which lead to a piece of ground which appeared to hav?? been improvd by Planting as the Corn Hills appeared and a cellar in whic?? he Enter'd wth Capt Good win & others. There was also a Well and th?? sd Chadbourn & Black say'd that was Smalls Settlement and it lay nea??
