BENJAMIN LIBBY, born in Berwick, Me., 4 Nov. 1756; married, 1781, MARY HAMILTON. He was a farmer. He moved to Sanford soon after his marriage and lived on the road between Mount Hope and Springvale. From Sanford he moved to Gardiner where he died of typhoid fever about 1815. His widow removed to Pittsfield and died about 1845. Children bef 1788-aft 94: Jonathan, Benjamin, Solomon, Abigail, Betsey, Sarah, unnamed son. [ref 25:110]
