Mary, daughter of Samuel, baptized, First Church, Berwick. (This is the only daughter of Capt. Samuel Lord that appears in this record.) Mary born about 1711, baptized Oct. 11, 1719, published in Wells, Me., November 29, 1729, married (1st) Joseph Stewart; (2d), Peter Grant. She had two children by the first marriage and six by the second. As widow of Peter Grant of Berwick, she conveyed to her son, Wentworth Stewart, December 18, 1766, all her interest in the estate of her father Capt. Samuel Lord. Mary Lord, born 1711, eldest child of Capt. Samuel Lord, married (1st) November 29, 1729, at Wells, Me., Joseph Stewart, son of Samuel. He died in 1734 and she was appointed to administer, July 23, 1734. They had two children icluding 1731, Wentworth.
