Conley and sold by his parents to Thos. Abbott and Jona. Nason; then deeding for a consid. to Abbott and Nason's wid. Jury and Gr.j. 1693, 94, 95, 97. Constable 1695-6; highw. surv. 1698-9. Liv. 1 Feb. 1703-4; adm. to wid. Susanna, bound 5 Mar. 1705-6 with Wm. Godsoe and Nich. Gowen. She m. 2d Robt. Knight and liv. on the land 1st of her husb., then of her son: William, d. unm., mo.'s bond as adm. 26 Nov. 1712, with Rich. Tozier and Saml. Smalley sureties. Aft. her death, his Lord uncles and aunts claimed his land. Saml. Tibbetts' depos. 1738 called him 'distracted.' Susanna Lord, thru whom he obtained the est. of her husb. Abraham Lord and of her son William who d.s.p. in 1712, being unsuccessfully sued by William's kin in 1719. The Abraham Lord est. was given by the Knights to Robert's sons Grindall and Robert by deed in 1718. His w. was recd. into Berw. ch. in 1716.
