Wm. He m. 1st about 1692 Margory Lord; 2d 26 Apr. 1703 Sarah (Ferniside), wid. of Nathaniel Heard, liv. 1714; 3d Mary (Horn), wid. of Benj. Hanson. Both liv. 1764. Ch. by 1st w: William, Humphrey, Mary, Sarah, Benjamin, Margery. By 2d w. 1706: Lydia and perhaps John. By 3d w. 1728-38: Mary, Chadbourne, Daniel, Lydia. [ref 22]

William Fost, married Margery, dau. of Nathan Lord, about 1692. It was William Frost[sic] who married Mary, widow of Benjamin Hanson. June 18, 1739, William Forst and wife Mary sold to Amos Main land in Rochester, which was granted to William Forst, Benjamin Forst and Samuel Alley. [ref 33:431}

William and Margery were presented at court for fornication on 1 Nov 1692 (YD 5:2:16, 21, 35). Children with first wife, surname FOST: William, Mary, Sarah, Humphrey, Marjorie. Children with second wife, surname Fost: Lydia, John. Children with third wife, surname Fost 1728-38: Mary, Chadbourne, Daniel, Lydia. A Benjamin Foss*, baptized 30 July 1710, was the son of William Foss and Sarah (Buswell) Foss, and not part of this family. [ref 74:74]
