Samuel, b. 24 May 1677, blacksm. Bap. 26 June 1724. His uncle Wm. Love willed him 1 1/2 a. at Chalky Point bot of Henry Hobbs, which he sold to Ichabod Plaisted. Will 25 July - 1 Sep. 1735 names w. and 8 ch. He m. 15 Mar. 1698-9 Sarah (Hackett), wid of Joseph Baskin. Their s. Love in 1740 sold the homestead to Capt. John Gage. [ref 22]
