His name occurs occasionally in the Oysterbay town records in connection with the transfer of land. On July 17, 1700, he agrees with Elizabeth Ludlam concerning fences on Hog Island, and on March 22, 1703, his brother John assings him the interest in a mill grant he had acquired in 1696. He was a private in Captain James Dickinson's company of Queens County (Long Island) militia, his name appearing on a muster roll of September 12, 1715 (Colonial series I:502). His wife was Mehitable Mudge, who survived him. Ebenezer died probably in 1718, as letteres of administration were issued to his widow on December 17 of that year. He was dead before August 4, for he is spoken of as "Ebenezer Pratt deceased" in a deed of that date from Jeremiah and Rose Pratt, his brother and sister-in-law, to Joseph and Charles Ludlam. His children were: Oliver, Anne.
