Hannah Canney, whose fa. then deeded to them bet. Quamph and St. Albans Cove. Gr.j. 1675. In Me. Ct. 1677 he sued Geo. Broughton and Benj. Barnard for taking away his ox; in same Ct. Broughton as assignee of Wm. Hookely sued him. For hims. and Henry Child he ptn. in 1686 for adm. on Jas. Goffe's est., the wid. refusing to give up their partly sawn boards. Adm. 25 May 1698 to wid. Hannah; �78 in 1719 she depos. ab. Berw. 60 yrs. bef.; again in Apr. 1720, ag. 79, naming those who had been in charge at Great Works. Ch. likely incl. 1 or m. sons, besides Henry, b. �1670, only surv. s. 1698, and a dau. m. Cornelius Corson who struck his mo.-in-law Hannah Hobbs 3 Feb. 1685-6.
