AZARIAH4 NASON (Jonathan3, Jonathan2, Richard1), born July 25, 1716, lived at Kittery, Maine, and was a soldier "liable to bear arms and attend Military Discipline" in 1754. List of the 4th foot company of Militia in Kittery under the command of Capt. Charles Frost taken at Kittery, July, 1762, includes Azariah Nason. He married Abigail, pub. March 27, 1742, daughter of James and Mary (Tetherly) Staples, and died in 1787. [ref 64:37]
