He m. 1st 5 Feb. 1701-2 Martha Dam, dau. of William and Martha (Nute); 2d Mary (Spencer) Jones, wid. of Joseph, dau. of Moses and Elizabeth Spencer; living in 1761. 6 ch. by each wife. [ref 22] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - JACOB ALLEN, died after he made his will 8 July 1752 and before it was proved 31 Jan 1753 (NHSP Pr 4:246-8), son of Edward and Sarah Allen. Jacob was a cordwainer and lived at Back River, Dover (LND, 62). Jacob Allen married first Dover NH 5 Feb 1701/2 (Dover VR, 130) Martha Dam, with whom he had six children.
