| - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - CHILD, Henry �33 in 1681, wit. for Thomas Holmes in 1675, bot a house and 40 a. from him in 1679, and was hauling lumber for him in 1680. In 1686 he was given Tho. Parkes's land for life supp. Gr.j. 1688. K. by Ind. 28 Sep. 1691, adm. to wid. 9 Feb. 1691-2. He m. Sarah Nason who m. 2d 10 Nov. 1695 John Hoyt. Although the Court allowed her account as late as 4 Oct. 1726, 'to bringing up intestate's four children,' only two are cert. kn: Sarah, William, and possibly Richard, Francis. [ref 22] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Henry Child married Sarah, dau. of Richard and Sarah Nason, and had Sarah, William. He was killed by Indians 29 Sept. 1691. His widow married, 10 Nov. 1685, John Hoyt, afterward of Newington, N. H. [ref 33:320] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Henry was killed by Indians on September 25, 1691, leaving Sarah with four children.
