They lived at Loves's Brook on road from Quamphegan to Wells.' Canadian records show (the captive as Miles, a boy, who ret. to N.E. with Hansons bef. 25 Aug. 1725. One Miles was a Penhallow wit. 1693-95 and served in O.R. and Dover garrisons 1695-96. One M. Mar. Abigail Paine in Boston 9 Nov. 1704 and d. there 2 Nov 1713**, ag. �31, leaving ch. [ref 22] *conflicting date **probable error - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Miles Thompson married Abigail Pain Nov 09, 1704 in Boston, Suffolk Co., MA [ref 23:0818093 - 0818095] (2 children) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - MILES, lived at Love's Brook in Berwick, on the road from Quamphegan to Wells. Killed by Indians, May 1724. Son Miles was taken captive and returned after a year. A Miles Thompson was m. in Boston, 9 Nov. 1704, to Abigail Pain. May 1724, "Miles Thompson of Berwick was killed and his son was carried captive." He lived on the road which leads from Quamphegan to Wells, at Love's Brook.
