SHADRACH Hodgdon4, b. in Dover, N. H., about 1709; m. 1731-2, Mary, dau. of Joseph and Tamson (Meserve) Ham, b. in Dover, Dec. 28, 1706. They lived on the homestead which his father deeded him Feb. 26, 1731. He was a member of the Fourth Provincial Congress, and was at times called Captain. In 1777, he was a member of the General Assembly, when he was styled Major. Shadrach, with his wife Mary and two children, were baptized in the First Church, Dover, Oct. 10, 1736, and for many years served as deacon. He d. in Dover, Nov. 15, 1791, aged 82 years; she d. Mar. 19, 1796, aged 90 years. Children 1736-50: ann, Israel, Joseph, Mary, Shadrach, Abigail, Susanna, Daniel. [ref 32:44]
