Hindsman company; 1685 John Wing company 24 Jun 1689 Constable; 9 Mar 1695/6 as Clerke of the Market "at a publicke meeting of freeholders and other inhabitants" - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 27 Jun 1709 applied for license "to Sell Strong drinck as retaylor & In holder" but turned down by the selectmen "being of the opinion that there is more then enough of Such lycences in ye Town already granted"; applied again on 18 Jun 1710, was granted and renewed 27 Aug 1711 and on 06 JUL 1715, the minutes of the selectmen show that "Benja.
