(He lived "about half a mile below the old meeting house in Georgetown.") He was living in Amesbury, Mass., near the present chain bridge, when the first four of his children were born, his other children being born in East Bradford, now Groveland, Mass., whence he removed to Rowley. He married, 19 Jan. 1727/8*, in Newbury, Abigail Bartlett, who d. 29* Oct. 1784, in Rowley.
