William Tyng, wh. d. 6 Sept. 1670, had Elizabeth; Ann; Mercy; Simon; and Ann. (1) Mercy Tyng (Capt. Wm.) [ab. 1662, who d. 6 Sept. 1670], physician in Boston, Rep. Andover in General Court, 1670, rem. to Jamaica where he m. (2) Margery, bef. 3 July 1674; d. 1685. Dr. Samuel Bradstreet d. in Jamaica. [ref 17:73,426] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Samuel, graduated Harvard College, 1653; physician; m. Mercy Tyng, dau. of William Tyng; d. in Jamaica, W.I., 1682. [ref 18:1-182] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Samuel, son of Governor Simon and Anne (Dudley) Bradstreet, died in August 1682. He graduated in 1653 from Harvard. He was a physician in Boston. From 1657 to 1661 he was in England. He removed to the island of Jamaica, and there died. He married (first) Mercy, daughter of William Tyng, (second) Martha ___. By his first wife he had five children, the three children of his second wife were living with their grandfather Governor Bradstreet at the time of the latter's death.
