Joshua Moody; had Robert, b. 6 Feb. 1685; Abigail, 1688, d. at 6 yrs.; Hannah and Mary, tw. 1691; Joshua, 1693; Margaret, 1699; and Solomon, 1700; and his w,. d. 24 Jan. 1703. He rem. 1689 to Portsmouth when D, was destr. by the Ind. next yr. to Hampton, next yr. to Newbury, next yr. to Portsmouth to emb. for Pemaquid as chapl. to the garris. back to Portsmouth in July 1695, and to Dover 1698, and in less than four yrs. to Salisbury, where he was b. but in a yr. or two went last to Dover again, there d. 10 Mar. 1710. All inquirers for minute statements about his neighb. are much indebted to his Journal in Vol. III. of N. H. Hist. Coll. His will of 6 Mar. bef. names ch. His w. Sarah d. 24 Jan. 1702-3. His will, 6 - 10 Mar. 1709-10, names 6 surv. ch., Joseph Stockman jr., neices Dorothy Light and Sarah Pike. Ch: Son, stillb. 30 Mar. 1682. Nathaniel, b. 3 Jun 1683, mariner, Portsm., m. by 1708 Margaret Cutts. She took adm. in N. H. 5 Jun 1714, in Essex co. 17 May 1715. 3 ch. bp., Sarah alone liv 1717. Wid. Margaret m. 2d Capt. Thos. Landall, whose fa. or mo. may have been the ___ Landall adm. to the Baptist Ch. in Bost. in 1682 when several Kit. People were admitted.
