BURNHAM, Job, Deacon, b. ab. 1676 in Ipsw., s. of Thomas and Lydia (Pingree), wit. with John Plaisted at Berwick 1696. In 1705 he was evicted. by Ruth Haskies from house and lands in Ipswich. Taxed Hampton Falls 1709. In 1714 he was renting a farm in Greenland. He dep. 18 Mar. 1734-5 �59, that he had lived at Blue Point, Scarb., over 16 years. During Dummer's War, when most of the inhab. withdrew, he served as moderator, first selectm. and gr.j. Will 1 Apr 1756, disall.; d. 2 June 1756. He m. Abigail Harris of Ipsw., b. 5 Mar. 1675, d.
