| - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Benjamin. In 1684 John Brawn jr. was slandering him and Elizabeth Paine (Thos.); in Apr. 1685 he was in the woods making oxbows which Nathl. Adams brot out. D., or inv. taken, 21 Feb. 1689-90, clothing, gun, 1 cow; adm. next mo. to br. Saml. [ref 22] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Benjamin. In 1684 John Brawn, Jr., of York was in court to answer accusations of slandering Benjamin Hatch and Elizabeth Paine. Hatch was in the woods in 1685, making ox-bows which were brought out by Nathaniel Adams. Administration on his estate was granted to his brother Samuel in March, 1690, the date Feb. 21, 1689/90, being either the day of his death or the day on which his inventory, a very short list of personal belongings, was taken.
