Moses, bp. at Hingham 3 July 1650, son of Moses Gilman and Elizabeth Hersey; Exeter, taxed and had town gr. 1682. Jury 1694; Gr.j. 1698, selectm. 1694; Constable 1700. In 1682 Theophilus Dudley was beating him on account of an unborn child (presum. Theophilus Gilman, selectman of Exeter 1726). He m. 1st Ann Heard, 2d (int. Salem 6 June 1713) Elizabeth (Croade) (Bridges) Lambert. Will 4 Apr. 1741 - 28 Oct. 1747 names w. Elizabeth, 5 daus., 1 son: Abigail, Anne, Judith, Shuah, Elizabeth, Moses. [ref 22]
