On May 19, 1671, when twenty-two years old, he deposed that he bought wine from Samuel Wentworth at Great Island for one shillings g a pint. He m. Mary ___. He was a shipmaster. He was sued in trespass by Ferdinando Huff in 1677 for carrying away two stacks of hay at Cape Porpoise. He lost the case, but the judgment was reversed on appeal the following year. He d. before Aug. 14, 1679, when his widow m. Samuel Rand, a son of Francis Rand, who mentions his son, daughter-in-law and their children in his will in 1689. Child: Samuel.
