Hugh Reed for his mo.'s funeral charges, the account being dated 24 Sept. 1716. He is the most prob. husb. for Mary, dau. of Col. Shadrach Walton, kn. to have m. a Randall of Newc. MARY. She m. a Randall, of Newcastle, a family the early generations of which are shrouded in uncertainty. It is certain, however, that one of her sons, Benjamin Randall, was the father of Benjamin Randall, founder of the Free Will Baptist denomination. [ref 42:90]
