FROST, Nicholas, mariner, Portsm., son of Nicholas and Mary (Small); settled in Newington. Adm. to wid. Sarah 4 June 1718. He m. 1st Dorothy Mendum, who was found guilty of adult., fate unk.; he m. 30 Dec. 1714 Sarah (MORRELL) wid. of Geo. Huntress, who m. 3d, spring of 1720 Tho. Darling. Ch* 1708-11: Nicholas, Dorothy, Nathaniel. Wife Elizabeth in 1735. John, with Nathl., both carpenter, were deeded by Tho. and Sarah Darling the house in Portsm. occu. by Richard Hilton, Esq. [ref 22]

Nicholas, son of Nicholas and Mary (Small) Frost, married Dorothy, dau. of Jonathan and Mary Mendum. He was a mariner. Bought a house in Portsmouth, 10 Dec. 1707. He and wife Dorothy were bapt. in Portsmouth 19 Sept. 1708. She died not earlier than June 1713, and he married, 3 Dec. 1714, Sarah Huntress. He died about 1718, and his widow married Thomas Darling, who soon removed to that part of Dover, N. H., which is now Lee. Children: Nathaniel, John. [ref 33:425]
