His broken grst. reads: 30 day ... 172[3] in 65th year. The next stone: Alice* wife of Edw. Ayers d. 9 Feb. 1717-8, aged 53. His next wife, Hannah (Martyn), widow of Richard Jose, dau. of Richard and Sarah (Tuttle) Martyn, m. 2 Oct. 1718, d. 12 Jan. 1718-9.
