| - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ELIZABETH Vickers3, b. in Hull, Mass.; m. (1) in 1714, Dr. John Dixon. They lived in Hingham, Mass., where he was a practicing physician; he d. Feb. 14, 1717, aged 36; she m. (2) July 16, 1718, Joseph, son of James and Sarah (Lane) Lewis, b. in Barnstable, Mass., July, 1676. He was grandson of George and Sarah (Jenkins) Lewis, who came from East Greenwich, Kent, England. According to Dean's History, dismissed from Plymouth Church in 1634, "in case they join in a body at Scituate." Joseph had had a former wife and seven children. They lived in Hingham, where Elizabeth d. Sept. 1, 1736. He was selectman in 1718, and called a "hadder"; he d. Aug. 22, 1767.
