Nov. 6, 1728; married Aug. 24, 1750*, Mercy Bean, daughter of Capt. Jonathan Bean of the Block House, Saco; resided in Buxton, where he removed about 1760, until 1816, when he removed to Hollis and died 1821, aged 93. She died Nov., 1813. He was a noted hunter and furnished the meat for the ordination dinner of Rev. Paul Coffin. He was in Captain Bean's company at Saco Block House in 1757, and in Capt. William Gerrish's company on the eastern frontier in 1760. Children 1751-71: Mercy, Daniel, Elizabeth, Benjamin, James, Charles, Jerusha, Joshua.
