JOHN LIBBY, born in Berwick, Me., 12 Oct. 1786; married, 23 Feb. 1809, ABIGAIL LIBBY, 1-6-9-10-3. He was a farmer in North Berwick until 1836, when he removed to Bradford, Me. There he was a farmer, and owned saw and grist mills. He filled, at various times, all the highest town offices. His death took place 17 June 1858. His widow died 9 April 1868. Children, all born in what is now North Berwick 1811-27: Sophronia, Isaac, Pattie, John. [ref 25:241]
