Joanna, d. of Richard Ingersoll, had Samuel, bapt. 9 Feb. 1645; freem. 2 June 1641, was some yrs. at Wenham; and at N. had Mary, Nathaniel, Matthew, Nathaniel, Mary. [ref 20] (no proof found for the two Marys and two Nathaniels; other possible children are Robert 1657 and Henry 1659, both died young) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 6 Jan 1610/11 baptized in Shotesham All Saints parish, Norfolk, England 29 Jun 1629 Richard Pengil arrived Newbury aboard "Lion's Whelp" 1642 10 acres granted Wenham; 1651 sold Wenham house and land to Samuel Forester; 8 Apr 1651 bought land at Newbury; 1651 awarded 14 acres of marsh in consideration for giving right of way thru his land; 1665 granted and island in Plum Island River 15 Jul 1695 to son Matthew two acres, 1/3 interest in 70-acre farm; 17 Jul 1695 to son Samuel upland, 1/3 interest in farm to Samuel's son; 5 acres and remaining 1/3 of farm to son Nathaniel - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | ||||||||||
