| - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - John, b. 1645, son of George Ingersoll and Elizabeth, bot large tract from George Munjoy at Capisic in Falmouth in 1675 before the war caused his flight to Salem, whence he returned to Falm. in 1680 by way of Kittery (1676). Had a grant of 60 a. at Fort Loyal, but lived on his farm, operating the mill with his bro. until 1690, when his house, a garrison commanded by Sergt. Richard Ilicks, was aband. and he, his w. Deborah (�83 in 1728) and his ch. retired to Kittery, where he became a carpenter. His will, 27 Sep. 1714 - 4 Apr. 1716, names the ch: Deborah, Elisha, Ephraim, Abigail, Rachel, a dau, Mary, John, Nathaniel [ref 22:368] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - John, born in 1645 in Salem; house carpenter; lived in Falmouth and Kittery; married Deborah Gunnison of Kittery; died in 1716; had children. [ref 27:1-131] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - John Ingersoll, son of George of Falmouth, grandson of Richard of Bedfordshire, Eng., and Salem, Mass., had a grant in Kittery in 1671. He married Deborah, dau. of Hugh Gunnison and died about 1716. Children: John, Elisha, Nathaniel, Ephraim, Deborah, Mary, Rachel, Abigail [ref 33:547] In 1697 Elihu Gunnison sold to his brother-in-law, John Ingersoll, a portion of his land "near unto the Saw-Mill at goose Creek," "bounded by Kittery road on the North-west and on the northerly side by the lands of the sd Ingersoll;" also a piece of land by the water side. This Ingersoll was a son of George Ingersoll of Falmouth and had a grant of land in Kittery in 1671.
