Alexander, b. 1 Dec. 1675, m. (ct. 14 Sept. 1699) Sarah Sewall (Edward). Wid. Sarah, exec. of his will (not found), deeded to Wm. Graves 25 Mar. 1729-30 half a lot owned in common with Graves; liv. a wid. 1732. 7 or m. ch. [ref 22]

Alexander2 Gordon died intestate and his heirs in 1752 were Stephen and Mary Leavitt, Samuel and Elizabeth Smith, Elisha and Lydia Sanborn, Biley Dudley, Thomas Haley and Thomas and Sarah Burley, all of Brentwood, Trueworthy and Elizabeth Dudley of Exeter, David and Anna Lawrence and Jacob and Susanna Freeze of Epping. In the many deeds which they executed they speak of Gordon as their "honored father," but as Biley Dudley and Thomas Haley were obviously not his own children and as husbands of deceased daughters would have had no rights in his estate, it is certain that some, at least, of this long list of heirs were Gordon's grandchildren, children of deceased daughters. The Gordon heirs, in distributing the estate, deeded their share to Thomas Haley. [ref 46:1-102]
