| - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Mary, daughter of Edward Rishworth and Susannah Wheelwright; m. 1st by 1678-9 William White, m. 2d by 1682 John Sayward, m. 3d Phineas Hull, m. 4th James Plaisted. [ref 22] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Mary, dau. of Edward and Susanna (Wheelwright) Rishworth married (1) John Sayward of York, (2) James Plaistaid. She was born 8 Jan. 1660, was captured 25 Jan. 1692 and carried to Canada by Indians and there bapt. 8 Dec. 1693. Children by second marriage 1696-abt 1700: Lydia, Olive, Joseph. [ref 33:666] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Mary Rishworth, b. Jan. 8, 1660; m. 1st [2d?], ab. 1680, John Sayward of York; 2d [3d?], ab. 1691, James Plaisted, also of York. Both her husbands were prominent in town affairs. By John Sayward she had four daus. and one son. In the winter of 1692 she was taken captive by the Indians, with two of her daus., bp. Dec. 8, 1693, in Montreal. The eldest, Mary, entered a convent and was bur. in Montreal in 1717. The other, Esther, was bp. as "Mary Joseph." The mother was back in York in 1696, when she was presented for not attending public worship. In 1718 she deeded land in Wells, given her by the will of her grandfather, Mr. John Wheelwright; and she was liv. in 1722.
