She was recd. to 2A. chh., Aug. 18, 1728, and d. Aug. 13, 1748[Hv]; recd. land in Hv. by father's will, 1696. He was one of the original proprietors of Concord, N. H., 1726; sold to his nephew, ROBERT4 DAVIS, in 1742. An Eph. signed petition for E. Hv. chh. in 1743. Eph. Sen. recd. to 2A. chh., July 15, 1750. Will March 23, 1746; Oct. 7, 1751. Children 1707-27: Sarah, Ephraim, Benjamin, Hannah, Benjamin, John, Elizabeth, Amos. [ref 51] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Ephraim Davis, son of Samuel, Sen., son of James Davis, Sen., was born November 8, 1679, and married Hannah Eastman of Salisbury February, 1705. They had eight children, Amos, the youngest, continuing on the homestead after the death of his parents. The will of Ephraim, son of Samuel Davis, Sen., dated March 23, 1746, was proved October 7, 1751. Hannah (Eastman) the wife of Ephraim, died August 13, 1743*.
