Sarah had Mary, John, Hannah, Jonathan, Sarah and Abigail; and he d. 1737. He was pardoned in 1683. [ref 20] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - John, b. 19 Sept. 1661, apprent. to Wm. Partridge. Carpenter and built a ho. north of his fa.'s, burned in 1913, the site now marked by a monument with names of owners 1713-1913, all Goves. He was implicat. in the Rebellion, convicted of treason, and pardoned, partly thru Wm. Partridge, who promised work on Gov. Cranfield's ho. in consid. of his pardon. Jury 1694; Constable 1696-97; six times Selectm. 1698-11712. Soldier 1708, called Ensign 1709. In 1734 he ptn. for relief against a deed his son had obtained from him clandestinely.
