25 Oct 1697 Jonathan Washburn of Bridgewater, with consent of wife Mary, sold a house and land in Middleborough which had been conveyed to Mary by her father's will

Abstract of will of Jonathan Washburn: On 10 January, 1725 "Benjamin Washbourn of Bridgewater" was appointed administrator on the estate of "your Father mr Jonathan Washbourn late of Bridgewater . . . lately dyed Intestate. 10 January, 1725 "Thomas Snell of Manfield in Connecticut and Benjamin Washbourn and Amos Snell of Bridgwater in the County of Plimoth" gave a bond of �200, current money, the said Benjamin having been appointed administrator. The bond was signed by Thomas Snell, Benjamin Washburn and Amos Snell, Benjamin and Amos signing by marks. The witnesses were M Thomas and Elizabeth Winslow. On 24 February, 1725/6 Ephraim Haward Thomas Michell and John Field made, and took oath to, an inventory of "all the Estate both Real and personal Whereof Mr Jonathan Washburn of ye Town of Bridgewater . . . dyed Seized" The real estate was: "twenty five acres of Land, Ten of which is not yet layd out; with all Rights in Ceder Swamps; and half a Purchase Right, in ye undivided Land" On 2 March, 1725/6 "Benjamin Washborne Adminestrator on the Estate of his father Jonathan Was born late of Bridgewater . . . deceased" made oath to the inventory (Plym. co probate 5:109,186).
