Hon. Henry, Portsm.; b. 16 Feb. 1674, bp. at Newb.; mariner, shipmaster, merch, selectman, Rep., auditor, Col. of militia, Councillor, Treas. of the Province, Cheif Justice of Supreme Court. He used the arms of the Sherburnes of Stonyhurst, and in 1710 drew up a pedigree tracing thru Joseph of Odiham and Henry of Oxford to Sir Richard of Stonyhurst. With w. Dorothy (Wentworth) and seven ch., he liv. 'in almost Royal style.' She d. 3 Jan. 1754, ag. 74; he 29 Dec. 1757, ag. 83. [ref 22]
