Robert, jr. and Elizabeth (Fane), at Saco, Apr. --, 1689 [ref 51] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Nathaniel, b. 6 Sept. 1663, d. 4 May 1689, in Saco, Me., unm. Administration on his estate was made 19 Mar. 1689-90. (Essex Co., Prohate, 304:249.) His father had given him a plot of land in Haverhill on which he built a house, that at his death went to his brother Robert and became known as the "Robert Clements house." In 1713, Robert sold the property to his brother Fawne, It later became the property of Richard Hutchins, who sold to John Cogswell on 6 Mar. 1730. The Cogswells held the property for one hundred years, adding to the house and selling it to Samuel Chase, 1 Oct. 1830. In 1868, Chase sold to Benjamin Leighton of Haverhill, who transferred the property to Jackson B. Swett of Haverhill the present owner [ref 88:55] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | ||||||||||
